Designed as a batch premix that's loaded full of essence associated with holiday season, which makes it ideal for your celebration. Save the extra cordial you can use for brunch beverages, desserts, or for another batch of bikinis.
The Bikini Cocktail
Makes enough for 10 guests
To make the Clementine Syrup (makes 750ml)
300ml fresh clementine juice
200ml recently pressed lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
To make the Drink (produces 850ml, serving 10)
400ml good quality vodka
100ml London dry gin
150ml peach liqueur
200ml clementine cordial (from the recipe above)
Fresh cranberries, for garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch
Instructions
Making the Syrup: Place all the items inside a saucepan, bring to a gentle boil, mixing until the sugar dissolves. After that, remove from the burner and let it to reach room temperature completely. Decant into an clean bottle, cap it and store in the fridge, where it will keep for up to one month.
Preparing the Batch Mix: Combine all the spirits and syrup into one large bottle, allow it to infuse for an hour, then pass it through preferably using a fine cloth, to ensure it's fully clarified.
For serving: Measure 85ml from the cocktail base into your cocktail shaker packed with ice, and stir gently for a minute to cool it down. Pour into an cold coupe glass or equivalent, decorate with a few cranberries adding the final touch with a quick spritz with the mandarin essence above the glass.
