The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters met personally to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Former twice world heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted British rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As both boxers participated in the traditional face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is really going ahead.
